Post Effort
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
Post Effort ("we", "us", "our") builds tools that turn training data into shareable content. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and your choices.
1. Who this applies to
Anyone who visits our website, creates an account, connects integrations (such as Strava), or uses our features to generate or export content.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: When you sign in (for example with Google via Supabase), we receive identifiers and profile basics needed to operate your account.
- Integration data: If you connect Strava, we access the tokens and activity data needed to list activities, read workout details, and generate carousels, as permitted by the permissions you grant Strava.
- Content you provide: Notes, tone preferences, uploaded images, and similar inputs you add inside the product.
- Technical data: Basic logs and diagnostics (for example IP address, device/browser type, timestamps) to secure the service and fix issues.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and improve Post Effort features you request.
- Authenticate you, protect accounts, and detect abuse or fraud.
- Run AI-assisted workflows (for example model providers such as OpenAI) to generate narratives and layouts from the inputs you submit.
- Communicate service updates, security notices, and support responses when needed.
4. AI processing
When you use AI features, relevant portions of your inputs (such as workout summaries and your notes) may be sent to model providers to produce outputs. We aim to use these services under contractual terms that limit misuse, but you should avoid submitting highly sensitive information you do not want processed by AI vendors.
5. Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us run the product (for example hosting, authentication, databases, analytics, AI inference, and email). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the service.
6. Retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some logs may be retained for a limited period for security. You can request deletion of your account data where applicable; certain records may be retained where law requires.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may disconnect integrations (such as Strava) where the product supports it. To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the details below.
9. International transfers
We may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Children
Post Effort is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date.
